Causes for ACH line part 48998-60020 to burst?

I have a 2015 LX570, with 72 k on the clock. Would anyone know a reason on why a ACH line would burst? Truck is maintained and fluid filmed.

Burst or rust through? Above the rear wheel leaking on passenger side?

Spraying above gas gas tank. I could not get any good pictures and I have had it repaired.

I think rust is the most common problem. The service history for mine had the lines replaced due to rust.

that is scary to hear that you fluid filmed and yet had rust in the worst part possible. 2015 with 72k is nothing.

If anyone can point to common rust points for the ACH lines, that will be helpful so I can inspect and put some rust inhibitors on mine as well.

There's plenty of info in this forum on which is the most common line to fail. It fails because it has a part wrapped in a heat shield that traps moisture. Mine failed at just 65k. I sprayed painted the heat shield on the new one I installed to see if it lasts longer

If it was over the gas tank, that’s not the normal line That rusts away. There was an example a while ago where a line was actually rubbing against another part and it eventually gave way. The line happened to be very clos3 to the place the rust failure happens. But maybe you experienced a different rub. id be surprised if a line just burst on its own, but I guess it’s possible. If you don’t have evidence of whar happened, I don’t think anyone here is going to be able to guess for you.
