Castor Correction in New Zealand (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I have an acquaintance down here in Queenstown, New Zealand with a lifted FZJ. He ideally needs a castor correction kit - any recommendations on where he could find one? I am not sure how much lift he has on the truck, so a good 4x4 shop in Queenstown would probably be just the ticket. If anyone has a lead, it would be greatly appreciated!

Get your mate to go to BNT or repco, he can get offset bushes through them. Anyone with a press can change the bushings easily.

Alternatively depending on lift ie more then about 75-100mm he will need drop boxes or castor plates, Just jump on the net and get them from an oz or possible 4WDbits Home (though they wiil likely cost a little more.

If he goes the castor plates or drop boxes they will most likely need to be certified, can hurt to talk to a certifier before he starts to see what he can get away with.

PS i am runing 75mm lift with no correction and no issues.
