The 4 09 09 is prolly casting date, 1974 Sept 9th.
If so, it should have the internal rocker oiling setup.
Does the head have the oiling plug in the side of it?
Does the HG have a tab/flap sticking out across the back of the engine (hard to see with engine in truck)?
