At tomorrow nights meeting we will be doing a TIG welding demo. New member Supper Dave will be showing how to use a small ARC (stick) welder and TIG weld with it. He will be covering what is needed to do this and giving a demonstration.

This marks a new beginning for our meetings, by having a special feature at each meeting. The meeting will be held in our usual location :

Busters BBQ
Tigard Oregon, just off 99W and I-5.
Meeting starts at 7 PM in the banquet room. However most of us are there early to get something to eat and/or grab a beer.

Did you guys get lots of pics and details? I would be interested in seeing a write-up of this conversion and whats needed. I have always wanted a TIG welder.

it's easy. just reverse the polarity. then buy a tig set up,hose,flow meter,torch and get a bottle of argon.
