Gaia GPS nows works on Apple CarPlay which significantly increases my interest in a solution.

The Naviplus looks like the most theoretically compatible but the wireless CarPlay, at least on the 2017 version, seems like a goat-rope and not a smooth RELIABLE interface.
I would love love love to get CarPlay integrated, but definitely not at the expense of reliability or functionality.
Happy to take a run at this. I have a 2019 LC200, and would really like to bring this part of the LC out of the stone-age.LOL - I had to Google the phrase "goat-rope." By context I thought I understood but, that was good for a laugh. There's no doubt that any of the reverse-engineered options are going to come with some trade-off in the completeness of integration. I responded to this thread becuase I was hoping to find an Aussie LC owner that may have tried the Naviplus solution. Since it doesn't require disconnecting anything, it passes my threshold for willing to give it a try. Honestly, the only thing I hate is the 15 year old navigation. I just wish I could get a modern day maps program up on the display. The bluetooth solution is adequate for me.
So, I haven't proceeded with ordering one just yet.

NaviplusSo there’s no way to retrofit a new model’s CarPlay into my 2013?![]()
