I've seen mixed reviews on that Tesla setup. Would you buy/install again?

RE the Tesla set up. It’s a tough call. purchased through the primary US vendor. (Not giving their name out, they don’t deserve it) installation was easy took less then an hour, thanks to the forum here.
pros - my 20 pin had probably failed on my HVAC controller and i regained control of my AC and audio
Cons - zero communication from dealer, pay now then wait as unit is third partied in the PRC, then maybe shipped, eventually it shows up on your door. (At the price point, this is BS) fitment sucks with the Chinese non matching registers (side trim) camera is INOP. Operating system is absolutely convoluted. Audio is awful. But AC works
Order LC oem registers (trim), audio shop install new 12v camera, tame the operating system with SERGEY firmwear. At that point the system is almost ok.
Summary, our trucks are awesome and we put a lot of work into keeping them in great shape. As these units stand you essentially insert a weakness into your previously superior ride. I did however enjoy iTunes.
