Cargo leak due to loose wiring grommet - Thoughts?

I concur in regards to large wire, I think it is the root cause for the issue. Just curious, why a cable large enough to power a nuclear reactor in the hatch?
Ha haa. I have no idea. This is for a aftermarket light in the cargo door that I had installed. Not sure why it’s so large. I considered removing it but I do like the light, so...

I appreciate the prior suggestion to switch around the yellow piece. I’ll try that if it comes loose.

It’s all sealed up now so we’ll have to see how it goes. Plan is to wash it tomorrow. Hopefully no leaks.

Personally my gremlin was the little white trim clips, kept busting them and the stealership wanted $3 a piece and a 2 week wait. Amazon/ EBay to the rescue again.
