Looking for a Carburetor Insulator block for a 1982 NON US 2F FJ40 stock carb, part number 21912-61020 . Must be usable without damage to the gasket on both sides. Or if you have a source for replacement.
Picture is what the block should look like.
Thanks

This particular model never had the heat shield, kind of made my own. Most did have the integrated, yes.
Also the insulator I have is warped as if I lay a straight edge machinist ruler across it one can see a gap.
Cheers

I got one of those with the non US motor I bought from @YoYoHo . Can’t remember if I sold it tho. I am swamped at work right now. It would really help if you could leave a VM.

Sorry not up on my VM, but is that a (VM) Vendor Message?
Yes it seems to work, not pretty I know, deflects most of the heat away from the base of the carb while stationary.
Thanks

No, but thanks very much.
Mine is like the photo.

Other than the vacuum tube on the side (mine does not have this see pictures), it resembles what I have. Is it good condition as far as the gasket surface is.
Thanks

That definitely HAD a heat shield on it. If you’re willing to take one that HAD a shield, there are a lot more options.

I believe I have found one @ cruiser parts for $45 Just waiting to hear back on the condition of the blocks gasket
but still open to what is available.

Thanks

Perfect, I will get in touch with them.
Big thanks
