Any one done a write up or a step by step on how to rebuild a 2f carb?

Get a FSM. It will take you through every last detail for rebuilding your carb. But, to answer your question, I have not seen a step by step carb rebuild thread here on mud. Besides, the carbs changed so many times through the years, that it would just be best to get the FSM anyway.

Good luck!

I did a series of 3 videos on rebuilding a 2 barrel Aisan, but I haven't had time to upload them to my server yet. It is about 1 hour total video time. I hope to get them rendered and posted by this weekend.

Videos ! WOW, thats going to be a bible type video to most mudders with aisan carbs . Looking forward to watching them with a .

You might want to reserve judgement. I was just rolling the video while I was rebuilding my carb and running my mouth, so there isn't much in the way of production. It is 2.5 Gb total as mpeg4 at 720P, so I might have to upload them one at a time or burn DVDs as I only have 2 Gb on my server. I'm not selling them. I'll try to get the first one up tonight and maybe 2 if there is room.

Pinhead, After I download, I can make all sorts of smaller versions. Even chop 'em up into chapters. Let me know when vidz are up

If too big to upload, put it on a DVD. I'll pick it up and make smaller, I work in OC

I'm trying to upload the first file right now, so hopefully it will work out. Sendspace.com has a limit of 300 Mb for files and each one of these is 1.5 Gb, so that isnt going to work. I'm thinking that I can just get the IT guys at work to bump my space up to 10 Gb to handle the videos. Youtube is always an option, but more work for me.

I'm just trying to find out the larges size file I can upload. It is greater than 100 Mb.

PM me your address and I will mail you the DVD.
You might be better off just downloading the file first. Right click and Save As.
I'm not having any trouble uploading files up to 300 Mb now, so maybe it will take the whole enchilada. The only problem is the speed using wireless. I will try it at work where I have much higher bandwidth.

Is it just me or is this video bad? Not too good on my side

What do you mean? If the problem is the content, there isn't much I can do about it. It is just the video running with me yaking. No dancing girls or anything like that.

There is some jerkiness in the original video clips which is hard to understand as it is supposed to be 30 frames/sec and 720P resolution.

When I click on these, it just opens a new window with this thread?????, same issue with save as????

I didn't have any problem uploading it to my server at work. This is Part 2, assembly. It is 1.75 Gb. Works best by right clicking and "Save Target As". It too me 3 minutes to down load at 12 MB/sec. Runs fine with Quicktime and Windows Media Player.

Let me know if you have any problems with the download or running the video. The content is what it is and I can't fix it.

Part 2:

Actutally, clicking on the link above or or right clicking didn't work when I did it here at mud. It just opened another copy of this thread. Apparently, mud doesn't interpret the URL properly

Try this: Copy "https://webfiles.uci.edu/cglabe/Public/" into your browser and go to this directory. There is only one file in the directory. Right click on it and save.

I tried it and it worked for me.
