this came to me loose in a parts purchase... I've determined it to be a CA spec 78 carb but have two questions:

the two solenoid connections are for the normal fuel cutoff plus an extra which my brain wants to fill in the blanks as an idle cutoff??

what are the two hose conenctions on the driver side... in this pic one has red heater hose on it (this goes to the charcoal cannister, right?). What does the other one go to (lower, directed forward, capped off in the pic the second pic)

thanks

There is an idle fuel cut off solenoid on top and the bottom wire is a temperature sender.
The red hose is the bowl vent to the charcoal cannister.
The other hose (5/8") is the connection port for the EGR.
HTH

thank you sir!
