Carb problem, gas coming out on the outside! (1 Viewer)

So my cruiser stalled out on me today, I barely made it home. I popped the hood and gas was coming out of the little rubber boot I identified below. Anyone know what gives? :whoops: thanks ccot for the image

sounds to me like you have a broken seal inside of there. FJ40Jim would be the man you need to talk to.

Same thing happened to me with a Holley I had on a '71 fj-40. Needle valve in carb. had problems getting stuck open. Good luck.

That's the secondary slow cut valve (P/N 21346-61140). It's not cheap from toyota ($140 MSRP). Call CruiserDan if you want it new. You might try somplace like cruiserparts.net or MUD parts wanted for used.
