Was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with carb rebuild kits from NAPA. Or should I go ahead and spring for one from Specter or Man-A-Fre.

I'm interested in seeing the responses. I mean, whats to a carb kit, some gaskets, o-rings, plunger, fuel valve, some come w/ new jets and maybe the secondary diaphram if you're lucky.

I got a Keyster (from Canada I think). Had all I needed for a 68 1 bbl. quality was ok and had most things that needed updated/replaced.

Depending on your year there might be some OEM kits available??? Would not hurt to give it a try. I have used NAPA for tons of stuff over the years and rarely if ever, I had a problem. Good thing about them is that they are close by.

I've purchased non-oem stuff from Man-a-fre, sor and others and their customer service was great and the part may have "done the job", OEM is the way to go.
