Carb Insulator Question... (1 Viewer)

So. Cal
...I did a search and couldn't find a definitive answer on the gasket for the Carb Insulator and the Carb itself.

The Carb Insulator has a permanent gasket on the underside where it mates with the manifold. The one on my engine is worn down to zero so I removed it.

I know SOR offers gaskets for both the carb and the insulator, but I heard that it's not supposed to have one? This can be right if it comes with it permanently attached to it.

I guess my question then is, if I removed it should I put an aftermarket one on in addition to the gasket the carb takes as it sits on top of the carb insulator?
