carb fan fuse holder / can't open (1 Viewer)

Removed the yellow tape. Pushed on the two plastic knobs but can't get it open. What am I missing?
Truck is '83 fj40. Thanks.

Probably some corrosion inside the holder.
I had one break trying to get it apart. I replaced with an update blade fuse holder and fuse.
Maybe spray some Wd-40 type and let it sit awhile.

Try using a very thin screwdriver between the two plastic pieces to break the bond. Wiggle the two pieces. I wouldn't try opening it up until then bond between the two is completely broken. Forcing it is more likely to crack the plastic.
