cant find a part (1 Viewer)

hello all failing miserably at finding this part so i searched for a Land Crusier chat forum and here i am.
I have a 1981 BJ42 24 volt system 3.4 Liter diesiel, says 3B on the valve cover. I've been haveing trouble with the starter relay solenoid
located under the glove box. Now the way it seems to work is there is something that resembles a set of points inside this relay box and the problem is they are not being activated, so i cut out a small hole in this box and i phyisically move thease points everytime i have to start it. I was wondering if anyone has a detailed rebuild for the problem of the points not working initially, or just know what this problem is or even could possibley help me find a replacement relay solenoid.

If it is the same relay that I am thinking of, the cost is $450 CAD. If memory serves me correctly, it is only available from dealers in Canada. Some of the Canadian aftermarket/used places may have one sitting around for less. If you want the name of a Toyota dealer that I have used, please let me know--I will PM the number of their parts manager to you.

My problem turned out just rebuilding the starter for about $150. It apparently uses the same Denso starter as a Cummins 1990 diesel. Don't know if the relay the same.
