Can this be easily changed?

I pulled the trigger on this truck last week. I haven't actually seen it in person yet. I live in Norway and don't get back to the states until January. I had the car inspected by an independent mechanic and was told it is in excellent condition. As you can see it is blinged out. I want to kill all the chrome and change it to black. The weather stripping and the pillars behind the front seats are chrome. Is this easily changeable? And how would you change it? According to the carfacts this was a dealer installed option.

Looked into plasti dip I'll probably go that route.

most likely just attached with 3M adhesive, I would just try pulling them off! I can't imagine a dealer putting those on?!?!? good luck man!

Forgot to post the pic. Here is the carfax statement. Maybe the chrome was not installed by the dealer.

I only see the chrome strips on doors and they are delivered that way. There are holes under those strips on the 2013s. I plasti-dipped the rear symbol and chrome and it has held up just fine even through car washes.

Probably a bad angle.

most likely you got something like this kit stuck on there with some 3m tape, just my guess.

Try heating it up with a hair dryer or heat gun, then apply a citrus solvent like Citrasolv or Goo Gone. Once that has weakened the adhesive, you should hopefully be able to remove them by working in floss or fishing line and pulling it away. This is how you can also debadge factory emblems.
