I've seen several threads on adjusting this - but I still don't know exactly where the screw is. I'm a little challenged on these diesels - I don't have a manual and what I do have doesn't show the adjusting screw. Silly question: Is it easy to do while in the truck? If so I'd like to do a little experimentation, because based on my EGT's I need to turn it down a bit. I'm wondering if someone could post a pic, maybe 2, with an X or -> marking the spot.

Just look for the same screw on your pump as shown in the picture below

You need to screw it out (anticlockwise) to reduce the fuel. You'll need a 12mm and a 6mm spanner.

Thanks. I've never seen that before. There is so much to learn about these vehicles and so many things that can be done. I'm repeating myself but I have adjusted the fuel screw and I'm seeing prelim results of about 20% better fuel economy with basically no loss in driveability. Plus, it's idling more smoothly and the shake is completely gone. Hmmmmm.
