This part fell on the drivers side floor underneath the dash on my 1982 FJ 60. Can someone tell me what it's for, and where it goes? It's not the return spring for the clutch pedal.

It definitly looks like a return spring for one of the pedals, id check again to make sure you havent lost one, they might be doubled up. Maybe a part of the turn signal? Does it still snap back when you turn?

Clutch pedal return spring.

Thanks, Rob.
So I assume I just unscrew the plastic trim around all that stuff, right?
Or is it more complicated than that?

I am with Poser on this one. Have one that I need to put back in after doing my clutch master cylinder install. The steering column springs are way thicker that that one.
