pulling a junked tranny, the bugger slipped out of the supports and hit the ground. no loss as it was junk. but the output shaft on the way down clipped the bellhousing, and has taken a small chunk out of it
nowhere near where the gearbox bolts go into the bellhousing, so i'm wondering if it's ok to reuse it... i understand water and dust will get in there easier (but my 40 hasn't run an inspection plate in years so???
it might be hard to find another useable one, as it's off a H motor, and looks different to the 2f one
