Lots of threads asking how big you can go, but not so many on how narrow. I got a good deal on the tires and want to use them with my freshly blasted and powder coated wagon wheels.

3/2 rule. multiple the width by 3 = 24 and divide by 2= ~12" width on that rim

method isn't perfect but it puts you really close to what the max width tire on a rim should be.

that tires only 9" wide so yes you will be fine. it might pull that tire out and make it look balloonish though. thought about running stock steelies?

Excellent info - thanks! I hope to put a little wider rubber on these wheels at some point, but I want to use what I have now until I get this thing running and roadworthy.
