Can anyone identify This additional transfer case part

is it a Fairly Brand Overdrive ?

Looks like a (hone -o -drive )overdrive, early 70’s company, very stout unit and was used behind 500 hp muscle cars back in the day so you could run 4.88 gears on the street!! It should have gone o drive cast into the housing?

I wonder how it worked with the rear Torque Tube ( Cross-Member ) & the E-Brake Drum ?

Best suited for FJ45/55/60 since there would be almost zero rear drive shaft on the FJ40??????
