Bought an overdrive a few years back and installed it on my summer daily driver (FJ40). I know that there wer not too many overdrive manufacturers for the Cruiser, so I'm curious to find out where it came from. I know Fairey (spelling?) made them, but I have never seen one. There are no markings that indicate it is a Fairey, but there is a label cast into the side cover (for the shifter) that reads,"ADVANCED 4 WHEEL DRIVE". I've never heard of them if that is the name of the company. I am considering selling it, but want to know more first...
