Picked up a bunch of parts from the powder coater and he said he couldn’t powder coat the harmonic balancer due to the rubber coating, see picture. I’m sure there is a reason that rubber is there so before I remove it should I leave it and just spray paint the harmonic balancer? Or can it be powder coated and some other plastic coating be re-applied.

Hit it with some decent spray bomb. Once it’s installed you’ll never see it.
