Can 19100-60061 distributor work on a 1980 FJ40 (1 Viewer)

Hey I’m working on a 1980 fj40 and was wondering if this distributor would work to just be able to see if the engine starts. Just didn’t want to put the wrong distributor in and cause any problems.

Assuming that your 40 has a 2F engine, i think that dizzy should mesh just fine with your cam gear and oil pump.

US spec 2F 1980 would have fully electrionic setup, the disributor above, I assume has points, so as long as you can wire it in to work, and as long as it is correctly installed it will work
