I am just trying to figure out where to stay.

Maybe you can start a thread so people can chime in if they plan to be there?

I was talking about a new thread, one that isn't 3 pages long.

I just saw that the campsites have 3 group campsites. If we are interested in this maybe we can all go together and rent one.

Is the campsite on reserve america? If so, what is the name of it?

There is camping on BLM land ... no services.

There is also a campground at Calico Ghost Town ... about 2 miles from the trails. They have showers, restrooms, full hook-ups, electric only sites and no hook-up sites. They also have a separate site for OHV only vehicles ... motorcyles, quads, etc.

They charge $20 per night, maximum 6 people in a site, There is a samll fee for more than 6 people.

The campground fee also gets you admission to the Ghost Town (normally $10 per day).

I reserved campsite # C11, $45 for the weekend. It has electric hook-up for coffee, margaritas, whatever.

The reservation phone number is: (800) 862-2542 or (760) 254-2122 .... Then WAIT for the recording to get through!

I vote campsite at Gosht town great info Jimmie. :grinpimp:
how long is the poll because I'd like to make reservations ASAP

Maybe we can get together real quick on Saturday after the inspection. I will get some information about the group sites.

Good Find Jimmy!!!

I called the campsite and if we want to camp as a group, the sites in Section F are the best. They are dry camping, but I have a generator for the ones that need to curl there hair. The sites can hold up to 5-6 rigs and as many as 20 people. They are only $18/night. Otherwise, we will all have to get our own separate sites at $18-22/night. Maybe we can get a count and discuss this at the tech inspection. If we decide to stay in F, then I can make the reservations next week.

i'm down for which ever just want to go...

Count me in for a group site...and anyone kept awake by snoring set their tent up away from mine:meh:

Camp ground?

:hmm: Thats where all the old men with shinny jeeps camp

I'm Just saying :)

I could stay on the BLM land but there will be ladies present and I don't think they like the idea of going to the bathroom behind the bushes.

Everybody, I am taking my motorhome, so if you all want to stay on the BLM, the women are more than welcome to use the bathroom in it. All others will have to drop a deuce someplace else.
