Camera/screen upgrade options

My 200 is pretty much built. At this point, the main remaining annoyance for me is that it's just really, really hard to see terrain details on the screen, especially in the split view. In real world use, I find that I have to constantly get out of the vehicle to eyeball the terrain or have a spotter do that for me, when a higher resolution camera/screen setup would handle that task in many cases.

I also use the vehicle for blogging and really don't want to start having more add-on cameras and more peripheral screens. I'd like to find a way to replace the factory cameras and/or factory screen to address this issue. Anyone see any options for this?

There are several head unit replacements that will improve the screen resolution. There are also camera upgrades available too. Search “Tesla style head unit” and “camera” for threads in the topic.

I’m about to install a Tesla style head unit it. I suspect that the camera resolution will still suck due to the camera. Camera upgrade is likely next.

Some of the android units have multiple camera inputs and will have a 360 view or birdseye view option using four or more cameras.

Thanks, guys. Looks like this would be a big project. Maybe something for the fall, if schedule allows. I'll get some shots when I have something exciting and new to share.
