OK, what the heck does either the SST or a homemade tool for removing the CAM timing gear look like? There's no threaded hole for a puller, no room behind the gear for a 'hook' style, the '3-hook' style just doesn't fit the 4 hole gear, and the hook style when adapted to the interior holes just doesn't grip.

I need to get it off to fix the leak behind the timing plate.

    HELP!

I pulled the cam when I did mine, but I was in the process of a full rebuild and changing cams anyway. Used my shop press like Jim C sez.

    Sorry.
