I sold mine to a guy in CA for $1,300 including H42 and Tcase, before shipping, and my engine has 340,000 miles on it. I think that was a fair price, and the engine still ran like a champ in my 62. The 3FE is a long lasting beast for sure! I hope I can get there with the 5.3 I'm putting in Roscoe! It has 103,000 on the motor now.
