Has anyone ever ran skinnies on their 80.
If so show pics.
I picked up 5 off a firetruck from Japan with only
4000 miles, mostly wanted the steelies,but the tires are like new.

I put them on and they kinda look out of place.
Almost makes "The Beast" look like swamp buggy.

7.5s on 5.5 rims were standard fitment on some 80s. (dx, standard and rv in aust)

they look ok from this angle, but they are pretty crap looking in general (even worse if you leave the flares on)

Practicality wise they are also useless. Good for tarred highways and driving on sand but too skinny for such a big truck off road.
 
I think 10.5" is the skinniest I would run, LTB 34x10.5.
 
Yea, I think I screwed up. Now I'm stuck with 7.5's
on 5.5 wheels. AHGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!
