Which did you use in your rebuild? Why? What color? Yellow or Gold? Post some photos.

Hasn't true cadmium plating been banned for years ? I know we removed it from military vehicles years ago.

Zinc dichromate. When I'm ready to send out big batches, I have to find someone local. Haven't looked around in southern california yet.

Caswell sells a good zinc kit for DIY, but it gets really tedious doing a lot of parts. You’re much better off finding a local plating company that will take small batches.
