I usually have the opportunity to browse this forum every couple of days....and I can't help but notice the number of people who work on their own Cruisers, and use C-Dan/American Toyota for parts.

American must be doing very well... (as a direct result) of having Dan working for them. I wonder if they are aware of the amount of business that comes their way because of his efforts here?

Thanks Dan, for all you do for the members here.

I know I can speak for everyone when I say.....Its great to have such a knowledgeable person to order from, the prices are great....and the service even better!

Hope you're around for many years to come, or at least training a protégé for when you retire.

Have you ever called over there? There's like 40 people in the parts department. Of course Dan is the last one on the list.

If I heard the phone message right, Dan's last name explains a lot. :D

keeping a low profile means allot.
if my boss knew what i did for my friends on company time,
she'd have my butt grilled over a long hot flame...THEN she'd go to work on me!

    edited to add:
this is a reference to the line from the movie oceans 11 where what's his name says 'first he'll kill ya, then he'll go to work on ya!' meaning, my boss runs one hell of a tight ship, and i fear her like i fear being grilled over a long hot flame.

No, I haven't had the pleasure of speaking with him personally yet. I just placed an order with him last week by means of private message (handy).

I had no idea how many people worked in the parts dept., but assumed it was several.

Anyway, its great to have this forum (thank you woody) to gather information from, and Dan to supply parts. Makes Cruiser ownership all the better.

I like to combo my orders from CDan. In the past, I've sent a PM and then call with CC info and to just chat. Other times I've just called up. The downside for me not sending a PM is that I'll usually forget something...and not realize it until I receive the shipment

Dan's cool to talk to. :)

Just spoke with his honor this afternoon. He was working his arse off. As a 1/2  type, I always learn something when I talk with him and he has all the patience in the world!

    Thanks Dan!

I've talked to him over the phone, too. Great resource and knows his stuff - which is so nice for a change.

However, I have to say this, it freaks me out a little that instead of just talking, he sings everything. It's almost it's like he's acting out his own little Broadway play or something.

This doesn't unnerve anyone else? :D
