Looking at buying new seat belts, want something safe and reliable. The price between the vendors is pretty different.

Who do you suggest?

Cruiser Corps or CCOT.

I bought the CCOT belts and I have been pretty happy with them. That said, the nylon has sun/weather faded over the last few years so I am strongly considering replacing them.

I believe I got the belts for my FJ45 from Seatbeltsplus, and was very happy with them. The old-style buckles were great and the color choices were nice.

I wanted to use all the original hardware (retractors etc) so I just bought some seat belt webbing off Ebay and replaced the old webbing. Used my industrial sewing machine to duplicate the stitching. I will say the webbing material that I got off Ebay was not as heavy duty as the original belt material..... so I am trying not to test the strength any time soon.

Sewing yourself is a great way to save a few bucks, but ultimately one area I wouldn't compromise is seatbelts. I'd find aftermarket ones that meet US standards. I just did the belts in my BJ74 and considering what their job is they were cheap $110AUD each seat.

There'd be some insurance fine print that wouldn't be favourable too I think.

I bought from them also. They shipped promptly and the price was fair. They are American made and are a good product too so far.

HOLY COW are they fast. I had forgotten until you mentioned that. Its like a two or three day turnaround. Great company.
