Bushings help - 40 w/ 55 springs (1 Viewer)

did the search...

swapping in 55 springs on the front of my 40…
looking for poly bushings part number…
Is it the SOR 289-55-A’s B’s or C’s

Doing the math looks like it would be the A’s but do not want to throw money away…

Thought I got this information from here before but could not find it again…

Nope... spring eyes on 55 springs are bigger

Depends on the pin size you use.....

yeppers...match the pin size. Also, the 5/8" bushings have extree thin shoulders, and wear quick. I used 9/16" ID for the shackles and "IIRC" for the solid mount too (tho it is just a tad loose with the stock FJ40 pin, you CAN drill out and use a 9/16" bolt instead)
