I am going to URE next week and I and slightly modding my cruiser before then. I have 2.5" OME HD and adding MAF 30mm coil spacers all the way around. I am also getting 12" travel Fox shocks. Is it safe to say that I need 2" bumpstops so overall, I need a total of 5" since stock bumpstops is 3"? They didn't have 5" but they do have 4.5" it okay if I get the 191311 on this website? Just some info for everyone else.

What is your purpose of the bump stops? Are you using them to prevent tire rub or over compressing of the shocks?

What shocks are you currently running. Im hoping people will respond to help you out since I don't want this to become a pissing match about the length of the shocks. Which I apologize for.

I am running 33s right now and I am more concerned about over compressing the shocks. I am currently running the stock tokico shocks. I feel like my lift is common and I'm guessing everything is running bumpstops...I just wanna see what the majority of other people are running. Its alright Rwhat, at least your helping me. What length bumpstops are you running?

I'm running 2" aluminium bump stop spacers on the rear and nothing on the front. I installed the 10" foxes several months ago and haven't had time to adjust the stops. However I wheeled it since then and havent over compressed the shocks yet.

The bump stops I had were for L length shocks, 315's and J springs with 1" front coil spring spacer. You should also look into rear and front sway bar extensions if your going more than 2.5".

alright, i appreciate bud. Just a question, do i need the sway bar extensions immediately??

I'm running 12" travel Fox shocks as well, and found that a 2" bump stop extension in front and a 4" extension in the rear work well to protect the shocks. Something closer to 3.5" in the rear would probably work just as well and allow a bit more up-travel, but it wasn't readily available and I didn't yet have a welder to fab something up myself.

Desmond are you running the slee 4"? I ran the 10" eye/eye rear with a upper stem adapter and only have about 4" up travel with J springs rear. So I'm about 28" extended and 18" collapsed.

Yep, Slee heavy progressive 4" springs. My shocks are eye bottom/stem top so no adapters, but they are a bit longer - I believe 32" extended/19.25" collapsed or something along those lines. With the 4" bumpstops I've still got 5-6" of uptravel, depending on how much weight is in the back.
