70 series Land Cruiser technical - import - thumbs up machine.
no affiliation

1992 diesel manual transmission

cut and pasted CraigsList ad:
Dependable and truly battle tested 70 series LC.
TRUCK / Not troopy.

Imported and heavily used in Central Asia, but fun to drive and a real thumbs up/peace fingers factory (see pics).

The good:
It's a land cruiser
Goose neck mount (.50 cal not included)
Field maintained
Clearly a lucky vehicle... enough said.

The bad:
-Several small 1/4 - 1/2 holes in the body will need addressing.
-some non-OEM parts may be present.
-paint is white(ish) as seen in most pics although we can change it back to clown car if you need it.
-radio does not work.
-odometer not working.
-windshield "cracked"

I would rather import a clean 70 and shoot it myself but this is too funny

Color is white(ish), but they can change it back to “clown car” if you need it.

Also, that sure looks like a 1999+ 79 Series, which is not legal for import here.

Some of the HD 70 pickups have huge leaf packs, like 12-15 leafs. A friend's has a heavy mine truck bed and sits level even loaded with a literal ton of wood. OTOH the ride when empty is not soothing.
