I would love to put a small bull bar on my LC for gently pushing other vehicles, pushing over small trees, and generally clearing things in front of the truck without damaging the bumper. If I can put lights on it, that's great, but hardly a requirement.

The closest that I've seen to what I am looking for is this: Arctic Trucks Toyota Land Cruiser 200 High Mobility (UZJ200) '2010–pr.

I have contacted artic trucks on several occasions, but have never received a response.

Has anyone seen anything similar that can be purchased elsewhere?
How hard, and how much would it cost to have something like this custom made?

Thanks for your help

I am looking for one as well to put on my 16 LC. TJM is the only one I have found ready for purchase. Unfortunately not a big fan of the higher loop. Would like not to go over higher than the bumper. There is a nice one showing on Toyota Australia customization page

I cannot find it to buy. Looks like is just a marketing thing. I have email a Toyota there and they didn't have a part # for it.

@beno might be able to source..... ?

My thoughts exactly, I would like to keep the existing bumper and not have something that goes above it (such as the TJM loop). I like the nudge bar from toyota australia, although it doesn't look like it would be compatible with the 2010 bumper.

That TJM loop looks like it would just bend if you push on it.

It looks like the only thing you could "nudge" would be a shopping cart.

The ARB Sahara loops are NOT designed to push anything & are for looks only. It is connected by two smallish bolts, so leverage/pressure on the top of the loop would be seriously beyond its design intentions. I suspect the TJM loop is similar, though I have only had the Sahara (my 100 series).

I had a loop on my previous 4runner. For sure it was not designed to push cars with it, but did a great job protecting from few bumps my wife did while parking. It was a good 2.5 -3 inch pipe. Lower loop as well helps with physics. The taller will just bend and destroy hood. In my case the LC is more a mall cruiser / city driving so bumps and esthetics are more important.

Just be careful to not install a "damage multiplier". There is a recent thread over in the 100 forum that shows a truck totaled out in parking lot fender-bender due to $6200 worth of damage from a brush guard that got pushed back into the grill, hood, fender, both lights and bumper. I can't say for sure, but it looked like a possibility damage might have been limited to the bumper if the brush guard (for looks only) had not been installed.

I heard back from one of the dealers in Sydney. Unfortunately due to liability (only tested on Australian LC) they cannot sell the nudge bar outside the Australia market. Looks like the only way to do it is have someone buy locally and ship it.

The OE bullbar is junk. Very weak mounting system.

If you haunt the international 200 forums, you'll find that even when the IE bar is available, people still get the ARB, TJM, Ironman, Kaymar, etc.

Edit: I'm referring to full bars, not little nudge bars.

I currently have an inquiry on this in OZ with an amigo. He is reporting two different front end styles thus two different "nudge bar" options.

Will advise on what I find.

Beno helped with pricing. I did research on shipping. Overall cost in $1400-1500 range to get to states as shipping doubles the cost. Good thing I like about the Aussie nudge bar that is not done cheaply by Toyota and you may be able to nudge things with it ;) It uses 4 attachment places vs. what we see in US two just from the bottom on cheaper imitations. As well it comes on top with bolt on places to add lights or light bar. As well confronts better to contour of the bumper. Install cannot be confirmed if it will be bolt on, or slight modifications will be needed.
