And then this happened.....

My Prius blew up!! 10 years, 200k miles, 3 sets of tires, and the original brakes! A CEL, P0301 code, and my Prius was vaping! Well all signs of a blown head gasket. Talked with my local stealership which quoted me $4,000 parts and labor. WoW!

Actually you are still ahead with the Prius:
Prius: 200,000 miles @ 40 MPG = 5000 gallons
LC: 200,000 miles @ 14 MPG = 14,285 gallons
9,285 gallons @ $2.50 = $23,200k (rough estimates) additional cost to drive LC/LX vs prius.

With 290k on mine, wish I didn't do the math

Well folks, been away from the forums for the last year. Been a little busy with LIFE. I recently upgraded to Dad with my little girl on 12/21. I took on a promotion at work. My wife and I decided to move. Finally, we found out we are expecting another baby this spring. All during the Great Pandemic of 2020. Wow how life just gives you crazy stuff!

Finished building some drawers in the back of the LC. Just need to finish the surface and buy a fridge.

Then went to hang out with some friends at Signal Peak.

But, its now 2021. Hopefully, this will be a better year for all of us and our travels.
