I am assuming you have people lined up to buy that super charger but still I will ask, have you sold it?
I have had a number of folks reach out about the SC, but I have not taken anyone’s money. I want to pull it off the cruiser before I take anyone’s funds.

Great looking rig man, the bowfin looks perfect on it.
Thank you, I am digging it. Was really impressed with how easy the bowfin rack went together and then after it was installed, how easy it was to pull and move around cross bars. I needed to play with positioning of the rear ski rack as the rear is higher than the front.

Any commentary on the suspension install? First impressions? Thank you!
I have been running Slinky stage 1 on this truck for nearly a year and the ride is fantastic. I haven’t installed the stage 5 shocks yet...they are going on this week though.

Today I got the Stage 5 slinky dual bypass shocks installed...they sure look pretty.

So far I have only done some on-road testing, but hitting the roundabout at 40mph and going over the roundabout rather that around it felt pretty good.

Spent an hour this morning replacing my rear sway bar with a HD white line bar from John @2KCruiser and a pair of Phil’s @LandCruiserPhil rear sway bar links. These links replace the Factory straps and incorporate a heim joint on the chassis end to eliminate/reduce binding and subsequent bushing deterioration that is common when running HD sway bars. I also like that they are adjustable without having to remove from the truck.

Do you know the collapsed and extended lengths of your rear shocks? Those swaybar links are freakin sweet dude.

Yes these links are bomber. The improved handling with the HD sway bar and links is very noticeable, I’m very happy with the result. In about two weeks I’ll be able to give it a more thorough test when we head out into the west desert for the annul Freeze Your Tail Off event.

The overall length of the rear shocks when extended is 33” This is from bottom of eye to top of pintop

The shaft length from bottom of piston to top of lower eye is ~13” which I beleive translates into ~12” of stroke.

Last weekend I met up with a bunch of Expedition Utah / Wasatch Cruiser folks to head out into the desert for the 2019 Freeze Your Tail Off event and to see the Winter Stolstice through the Lucin Sun Tunnels. Met a bunch of cool new people and saw some great trails. We camped out at the Lucin Sun Tunnels and fortunately the mud flats were frozen solid with the exception of the ground around the 30’ trench fire we built. Temps got down at low as about 10 at 4am but in my tent it was a balmy 20.

Since the LX is my primary Daily Driver and I am spending a lot of time up in the mountains I figured I better get a good solid coating of rust protection under the truck. I washed the truck twice and then took out the power washer to get all the remaining salt residue off. Let it dry overnight and this morning setup my Dexter’esk poly drop sheet and Donned a Tyvek suit.

I used Woolwax Black on the entire chassis, axle’s and suspension components and then used Fluid Film on all the sheet metal. The Fluid Film definitely sprays nicer than the woolwax as it is a thinner substance, but I am happy with the result and feel good knowing those rust demons will be kept at bay.

Mine's next!

Love this build. Jealous, actually. As the PO, two thumbs up....

Finally getting started on the turbo install. I started out with changing out the plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap and seal. The plugs and wires we all in good shape, so have held on to them for spares.

I also installed the refurbished spare valve cover along with a new PVC valve, grommet, spark plug tube seals and cover gasket...so much bling!
