Builds 1964-1984 FJ40 - "I got it one piece at a time..." (1 Viewer)

Just started the tear down my FJ40 project. Probably going to catch a ton of grief for this build since I am taking the designs I like of each year and incorporating into final product. Starting with a 1974 Columbian FST and a 1964 Donor (Mainly heavily altered frame, front bib and split hood), but using parts I like from all different eras of 40's. Kind of a Frankenstein but I think Johnny Cash would approve.

Not sure. I will check. F Motor and 4 speed transmission are spoken for. Split case and everything else will be posted as I get them documented.

Looks like the guy who took the engine/transmission wants the split case and the parking brake as well.

Is the bellhousing gone and are the driveshafts available?

Bellhousing gone. I will see about drive shafts.

Drive shaft will get reused since I am putting in a rebuilt split transfer case.

Yep. He knows what he is getting. He is also making my life a lot easier with what I am trading for, so it worked out great for both of us.
