Browning BAR 7mm

    Hi All:

    Which "deer" are you hunting? Blacktail, Muley, or Whitetail?

    If the BAR is caliber 7mm Remington magnum, I'd say it is a bit "over-kill" for deer, unless you are shooting them at 500 yards or so!

    Now, the regular 7X57mm is a nice cartridge, and would be an excellant choice for deer.

    my ex used to hunt deer with a 7mm (actually, he probably still does, i just don't care anymore :grinpimp: ) and loved it. i loaned my bar270 to a friend to hunt last year and he liked it. combine the two and you have a bar 7mm :D

    I hunt with a BAR 7mm, and sometimes a BAR 270 both Safari grades only complaint is its heavy, but not much reqoil with the BAR.

    Its funny though the gun I keep coming back to is my trusty Modle 99 Savage in 308. I love that gun.
