Can anyone tell me what sensor this is? It snapped off when I was climbing around the engine bay replacing the starter. I thought it was the temp sensor & purchased a replacement but to no avail. I believe it’s located on the water pump housing. Picture not mine, pilfered and edited off another thread. TIA

That’s the coolant temperature sensor.
My high RPM even after engine coming to warm was solved by simply replacing that sensor. Even a 92 corolla coolant temp sensor works!! Thanks Toyota...

Mine cracked when I leaned on it. The plastic plug for the pigtail almost got torn from copper head sensor, it was so brittle I guess it was still the factory part and hasn’t been replaced ever.

Both my clips took a beating while getting to my starter. The sensors themselves are okay. Anyone have the part numbers for the plugs?

If you mean the housings, the part numbers are on the back.

Which 2 clips? Connectors to knock sensors?
No, to the coolant temp sensor and temp sender. Think I found them:
