broken frt stabilizer mount (1 Viewer)

So I broke my frt ds stabilizer mount. The welded on tab that the bolt goes through and holds the very front of bar. Do I need an oem replacement or can I just have a local shop fab up one and weld it on there?

If you are refering to the point where the front sway bar attaches to the axle housing the only way to obtain a new one is to buy a new axle housing. You may be able to fabricate a replacement and weld it to the housing.

Send a PM to dclee (Derek Lee) he did this exact thing at Rubicon last year and just welded the bit back on, no big deal. Derek could provide the details.
