I get cold and hot as expected for speeds 2-4, but speed 1 not working for some reason. has anyone had/fixed this issue? Resistor maybe - not sure where to start.. cheers '84 fj62

The low speed resistor coil has burned up. Get another at CityRacer.
The fan speed resistor coils module is located inside the air duct above the gas pedal.

Yes, as OS sez, most likely the resistor. You're in Oz? I'm sure you can find it local as the OEM is sold under a few different brands not available here in the States.
