Broke 3B Exh Manifold Flange - Help??

THis is a fork in the road where I can go 13BT Mani and turbo or just go back with 3B stuf.

Anyone got a 13BT in the states with a Mercedes turbo setup available?

How about a 3B mani WITH BOLTS?

I've got a 3B exhaust manifold and I'll be in El Paso at the beginning of June if you can wait.

where is it broke?

any competent welding shop can weld cast properly...

do you have a picture where you can see the break?
i welded a pipe with a flange to mine to turbo it with a merkur turbo. if you can weld just use nickel iron rod and heat it, get it almost red hot before you start.

Your set up is exactly what I am after... ) The Mercedes turbo with 2 1/2" outlet. Know where another one is?

I am running a garrett model ta0310 from a 85/86 300td Mercedes.

This is the one you want.

The ta0310 is an upgraded ta0301.


The ta0301 are found in the 80-84 Mercedes 300d.

This one will work, but does not have the upgrades.

Ugrades:

The waste gate is set @ 9psi on the 310
(vs 6psi on the 301)

The exhaust is output is 2.5" on the 310
(vs 2.25" on the 301)

I will keep my eyes peeled for one.
