After a brief hiatus to the Tacoma world I'm back in a Land Cruiser, and instead of getting another 80 series decided to hop in the 40.
Look forward to taking the little monster (daughter) out on some fishing adventures in the mountains.

wow great 40 you got yourself there. great job.
Almost, PO just painted over everything to hide the usual rust problems. Good from afar, far from good. Runs good, looks nice, but will be a good project to tinker with for the next 10 years.
Guess I forgot to give the info on the rig. 1973, F engine serial #11411-61011, original 3 speed trans was swapped for a 4 speed. Brakes are terrible, only the right side brakes seem to work, but will do the disk brake swap first thing so not going to try and diagnose it. Carb needs to get looked at and maybe a rebuild.

Nice score indeed, when I first looked at the fenders I assumed they were primer.
Looking now its paint.
Never seen the grill behind the front bib painted a body color, interesting.

Have fun looks like a great start!
