Brand new 21' with occasional musty smell?

Hi there,
What to Do? Geez, only have had it a week. I'm getting an occasional pretty musty smell through the vents. Kinda concerned about this. Is this "normal"?
If so, is there a fix? Geez.

Happens. Most likely something picked up on the long voyage from Japan. Dealer should have a disinfectant to spray in the vent.

I occasionally have this smell in my '14 LX. Been wondering whether the AC needs a recharge; could that be related?

If they mess with the cabin filter, make SURE they know to put the HVAC in recirc first. Otherwise they will break the mechanism and you’ll have a new ‘21 where they have to remove the dash to replace the broken part.

Had this happen w my 16, I found a thread where a mix of water and vinegar poured into the vent near the windshield, putting the AC in the setting for outside air. It worked I need to do it again.

I was going to suggest checking the operation of your AC recirculate flap in the hatch in the back of the glove box.. possible a brand new rig has a broken one the way these dealers are so ignorant.
