Ultra-Power is a good brand. And NEW!

Reman Toyota are available, as well as Brand New LOADED OEM from Cruiser Outfitters, but spendy.

Ok, so now I got the calipers.. what is a good big note master cylinder and booster for this??

any suggestions??

If you go the 4 runner caliper rout you need to properly match the master cylinder otherwise you run a good chance of making the brakes worse. There are some detailed threads on the conversion. You could replace all the soft hoses on the truck with the braided SS lines as well and that will help a bit with responsiveness.

No one ever reads the FAQ... :bang:

Them's the brakes.

I would not use a 1" MC again. I'd used the size that was stock with the 4Runner V6

I used a ‘96 V6 T100 master cylinder cause think that’s what rockauto had from advics at the time. Thing to note is you need to splice in the brake level sensor connector from your old cap to the new cap. If I remember correctly the colors match up the same.
