I just got back from a test drive of my 60. It was the first time since I replaced the Calipers with 4runner calipers.

I bled all the lines, including the back. It will stop, but not very well.

What gives? Did i not bleed them well enough?

Did you do anything with the booster ?? Vac line not attached, maybe.

Does the pedal fade, or just doesnt stop well. If it fades you either have air, a leak, or bad fluid. If the pedal feels good, but just doesnt stop so good, go get em hot, this will seat the pads. Also if you put new pads on old unturned rotors, sometimes you get what you get.

I didn't get them hot and i didn't replace the master cylinder, and I didn't turn the rotors but they are super smooth.

What is Bench Bled? I just did each bleeder valve untill I saw new brake fliud and no air.

The pedal feels kinda soft and i couldn't get it to lock up at all, close but not locked up.

First of all you need to make sure the rears are adjusted tight, thats 90% of the pedal feel.

I was going to buy some shoes for the back, so I'll do that then. Thanks!

rotors being super smooth means no braking with new pads, I would recommend gettin em nice and hot

If you had gotten a new master cylinder it's a technique that bleeds the master cylinder before you install it. letting you install with brake fluid in it already.

Didn't want to start a new post on a similar topic, so I will hijack an old one. I just had a brake shop replace my master and bleed my lines with fresh fluid. Pads, rotors, shoes, and drums are in good shape but soft pedal still. The PB is way out of adjustment, I have to pull it up all the way to get it locked. Could this be the whole problem? The rears are out of adjustment? The brakes lock up when you slam on it, but otherwise it is slow to stop and pedal is soft.
PS Everything is stock, not 4runner stuff he is running. But the problem sounds similar.

Adjust the e-brake to get firm at 7-9 clicks, max. If prpblem persists, then:
Same question posed earlier. Does the pedal 'go away' when pressed, or just soft at all times? I'd check for leaks at the booster, or vac supply line to booster. Check that the LSPV was bled. How about the ?? actuator rod length adjustment ?? outta whack since the new MC install? (sorry for the bad description of the part, but perhaps you get the idea)

I don't have time yet to adjust rear, will try to do this weekend. As far as anything since the mc install, it is basically the same as before, but now I can lock em up when I pound the pedal. Couldn't do that before. pedal doesn't go away, just have to press really hard to get any stopping power from the start.

Hard pedal?? I'd take a long look at the booster, then.

Edit:
Wait, I think I read too much into your last post.

Stick with properly adjusting the e-brake, then go from there. Next would be stuff like glazed brake pads, grease contaminated pads, bad vac check valve/ vac booster as mentioned, etc.
