Brake master issue (1 Viewer)

78 FJ40... DB front, drum rear... Large reservoir overflows, small looses fluid when pumping brake pedal... Need a new master? Prop valve failing?

Sounds like a seal inside the master has taken a crap. Probably time for a new one unless you feel like rebuilding the old one.

Yes.

Prop valve failing?

No; there is nothing to fail in the stock prop valve - maybe it could get plugged with rust or debris, though I have never seen one do that.
