I have a 1970 FJ55 and the master brake cylinders is bad. I have been doing some research and it looks like i need one specific to the FJ55. Here are my questions:
1. Do I need a FJ55 specific one or will the FJ40 one work as well?
2. What is a good brand? Obviously AISIN would be great, but I can't seem to find on. CENTRIC makes one. The part number is 130.44731 and says it is specific to the FJ55 model. Do you guys have any experience with this brand?
I also found a Dorman 17247-05509306. I have heard good things about Dorman
3. Who makes a good rebuild kit? I would rebuild it if I can find a good kit as well.
